Over the past year, a new publishing house has emerged on the Bulgarian literary scene. Whether seriously or half in jest, it introduced itself from the very beginning as the “Temporary Publishing House.” Its editorial collective brings together curator and critic Hristo Kalyanov, literary critic and translator Filip Stoilov, and visual artist and philosopher Nikola Stoyanov.
Together, the three joined forces under the name of the Temporary Space Foundation, with Temporary Publishing House serving as a platform through which they publish books they have long wished to see available in Bulgarian.
